Some fruits in Pakistan and other countries are rarely seen. One of them is Sharifa. Sharifa is called 'Sita Phal' in Hindi and 'Sugar Apple' or 'Custard Apple' in English. This fruit contains the treasure of health. Sharifa is rich in energy, Vitamin C, Manganese and Vitamin B6, Vitamin B2, B3B5, B9, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus, and Potassium. This fruit is also very tasty with many health benefits. Sharifa is a fruit of a warm climate and is eaten with great relish in many countries of the world. Its native land is West Indies. In Pakistan, it is cultivated only in Sindh province. It is harvested twice a year. Flowers bloom in March, bloom in July and ripen in December.
